My husband and I share the same apple id. We both just upgraded our phones to the new 15 pros. my issue is that our voicemails have combined. my old voicemails show on his phone and his old voicemails show on my phone. if i delete one of the voicemails from my phone it also deletes it from his phone. HELP! how do i fix this? i feel like this happened the last time we upgraded our phones but i can’t remember what the fix was. thanks!

iCloud settings. Switch off ‘Phone’ under ‘Apps using iCloud’

Sharing same Apple ID can cause all sorts of issues. Why not each have their own ID? I'vs heard stories of seeing each other's text messages. My wife and I had separate Apple (iCloud) IDs. But did share my iTunes ID. That worked.

Get separate Apple IDs and set up Family Sharing.

I understand there are objections to doing that… my rebuttal to those is:

Get separate Apple IDs and set up Family Sharing.
