VoiceOver for iPhone 3G

Is there an application yet for the VoiceOver on the iPhone? I've been imagining this application for months, but then Apple introduces it with the new shuffle. When my phone is in my pocket and I'm at work listening to music, sometimes I want to know what's playing without pulling my phone out. I know it sounds lazy, but it would be sweet if a developer did it. What do yall think?

I don't see the appeal of that personally. I would just get annoying to me. But if it were to be added, then Apple needs to do it. I would rather have it built in than have a separate app for that. I wouldn't use it but I do want my iphone to have all the features as the other ipods. As for a developer making an app for it, something like that won't come out until in the app store until the 3.0 upgrade goes public. Developers couldn't write apps that could access your music library until 3.0
