VoiceOver removing links?

I enjoy using VoiceOver for listening to text in Safari but I was wondering if there was a way to turn off the "Link" mention every time it comes on a clickable link ?

Not really. It is meant to be there for the visually impaired. I rely on it and know others that do too.

I don't think so. Maybe there is a jail break hack...
