I have this small problem where when I have my headphones on, listening to iTunes Radio or any music, a new e-mail will come in and VoiceOver will announce it (even though it's off), and then turn my volume all the way down.

Where would those settings be? I looked under Accessibility and didn't see anything other than the main VoiceOver controls that are already off.

I guess some bug with VoiceOver...forgetting to turn the volume back up after it's done speaking.

Just thought I'd update this as I just got an e-mail while listening to music...

VoiceOver seems to only work with the default Mail app, and not Mailbox. It made the usual pause then ding sound, but then just went back to playing.

Works for me.
