So my lock button stopped working on my iPhone 5 a while ago (at least three months) and I sadly had no time to go replace it.

Quite recently it just got dropped and the screen cracked >.> It's just the glass that is cracked. It's on the front of the phone, but closer to the front screen camera rather than the lock button.

Would my warranty still let me get a new iPhone? Or would I have to go to the store and get it assessed to see?

Yep, warranty is voiced once you bring it in with physical damage.
You can always try though.

Ah, alright. Thanks man. Hopefully some nice Genius let's me or my wallet will be a little crippled this month...
