I have a Verizon iPhone 6 and have enabled VoLTE. My question is: when I am on wifi, does my phone still make and receive calls using LTE? If I surf the web while on that call, does it still use wifi? Essentially I am asking if wifi and LTE can be used at the same time.

I started wondering this because I have horrible CDMA signal at my house, but my LTE signal is strong. Before enabling VoLTE, I would frequently drop calls in my house and around my neighborhood. Since turning on VoLTE, that has dramatically stopped. But, I have noticed that when I am on my local wifi network and I get a call, it is more likely to get dropped than if I have wifi turned off. I also noticed that if I get a call while on wifi and I start surfing the web, that also increases my chances for the call to drop. I am sure all this is just a coincidence, but figured I would ask out of curiocity.
