I've had an iphone 5 for about half a year, it's never had anything but a fully protective case on it (otter box, lifeproof) and it hasn't really suffered any huge falls. Now all of a sudden the volume down bottom doesn't work! Sometimes it will work for a couple clicks but then nothing again. Anyone else have this problem is it something that can be fixed?

In both cases, I'd suggest a complete backup and restore. It may be software related, but sounds more like dirt has become wedged in between the buttons..Might be possible to clean it with a qtip or similar, but I'd try a restore first.
If you have AC then It's back to Apple I'd suggest.
