Hi guys,

I've been having some trouble with my iPad Mini lately. Let me explain. The volume locker worked great until a few weeks ago: when I press the "+" button, the volume goes up. Great. The thing is, when I press the "-" button, the sound completely mutes, even if I was at maximum sound.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I tried everything. Thank you!

edit: as pointed out by a fellow MacRumors member, a SINGLE press mutes the device, not holding it.

Does it mute with just a single press, or it mutes when you hold it down? If the second, then that's how it's supposed to work. In order to lower volume, do a series of short presses. If a short press is muting your iPad, contact Apple for repair/exchange.

Nope, it mutes with a single press :/
