There are little problems I have noticed on my iPhone...one being the volume buttons.

When using the volume rocker buttons, the volume up button is able to provide a solid feedback with a soft click, where as the volume down button requires more effort and feels recessed into the side casing when pressed.

Are all iPhone 3Gs' designed this way? Or have I received a defective iPhone?

I ordered mine over the phone. So if it is a defect, should I call Fido for a replacement or should I go to an Apple store? If I call in for a replacement, will they send me a new one so I can compare the two before sending the bad one back? I read that Rogers and Apple stores will now only exchange defects with refurbrished phones...but I would prefer a brand new one as I only had this phone for less than a week.

What are your thoughts on this?

My phone's serial # starts with 87834. For those who have received the batch later than mine, were there any problems?
