Volume control on Imovie 09 question

I am making a small video and using Imovie 09. When I insert a music file, I have the volume set at a low level and then raise the volume at a certain point in the track ? Or am I restricted to one set volume on the entire music track? So what I am trying to do is have background music, but then towards the end of the video where it fades out, I want to increase the volume of the track without raising the volume on the music file entirely. I hope this makes sense. ANy tricks?

Unfortunately, that relates to iMovie6HD. As far as I know you can't adjust volume levels in iMovie9, which is why I stuck with iMovie6HD until iMovie11 came out.

With iMovie11, you now have full control over the volume of audio tracks. Well worth the upgrade from the App Store.
