iPhone X Volume icon/rocker randomly appearing

Has anyone else experienced the volume rocker randomly appearing on the screen?

Although it seems that it doesn't actually adjust the volume but it does show up.
 
Yesterday i experienced it alot when Im playing music from my phone to a PS4 through network (not Bluetooth).

However I just experienced it 30 minutes ago when in the FB messenger app and my Bluetooth was turned on but not connected to any speaker.
