Have used Volume Logic with iTunes for a few years and was very disappointed when it turned out to be incompatible with Leopard
However Plantronics have offered a "fix" on their website.
Now, before running any command line fixes, what is the likely damage with the following commands? Or is it harmless?
* Close iTunes if open
* Open Terminal: Applications/Utilities/Terminal
* Copy and paste the following
* cd /usr/lib
sudo cp libcrypto.0.9.dylib libcrypto.0.9.dylib.old
sudo cp libssl.0.9.dylib libssl.0.9.dylib.old
sudo ln -sf libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib libcrypto.0.9.dylib
sudo ln -sf libssl.0.9.7.dylib libssl.0.9.dylib
* If you are asked for your computer password (not a Volume Logic password), enter it and then re-paste the code into Terminal again.
* Close Terminal
* Open iTunes
Any help?
Thanks!
PS. Yes, I have looked at iWOW Volume Logic just sounds better to my ears.
