Volume Logic - how to buy a serial number?

Now that this product is discontinued how can I still use it so that I am not restricted to fifteen minutes, as I cannot buy a serial number? I would have thought they might leave it as open to users but that may well betray my naivety.

Suggestions please.

Unfortunately they released a free update just for Windows versions.

Hi, is there someone out there that does not use Volume Logic anymore and wants to sell their serial #? I just discovered the plugin a few weeks ago and can't find a place to buy a serial number.
