Volume Moves by Itself

I've noticed lately that at random times, my MacBook Pro's volume will begin to increase, without my touching anything. If I click mute, it will continue regardless. I need help resolving this, as it is quite random and during class the annoying volume increase/decrease sound will occur.

There's got to be some seminal fluid soda under the volume key.

Information about what kind of MBP you have, any previous damage to it, etc. might help others help you.

ahh I wish I could give more info! I literally am the worst with computers, and this was a gift so unfortunately I know close to zero. It IS only about a year old, however. (p.s. I'm a girl...so it's not what soco suggests )
