Hi,

I have my work user account on a separate RAID0 volume in my MP that is not the startup disk. Yesterday I noticed that somehow the permission of this volume had changed and Time Machine could not run a backup. The TM problem actually alerted me to the permissions problem.

At present the separate users Volume is set to 'NAME' rwx, staff rwx everyone r.x. Where NAME is an admin account that I certainly never used but that existed nevertheless. NAME Is also set as the owner, strangely.

My internal Time Machine Volume is set to 'ME' rwx, system rwx, wheel r.x, everyone r.x

The SSD with the system on is set to system rwx, wheel r.x, everyone r.x

So, how shall I reset the permissions for the users volume and the TM Volume?

Thanks.
