Volume Settings for Ringer

So I assume that this is possible. How do I set the volume for the Ringer to be max always. Whenever I listen to the iPod, the ringer volume gets lowered as I lower the music volume. I don't always remember to crank the volume up afterwards. On all of the other cell phones I have used (about 6) there is a seperate volume setting for the ringer and mp3 playback. Am I missing something? :confused:

I asked the same question on a different forum, and was told that the volume control was global. Change one, change all type of setting.

I understand your frustration though. They need the ringer volume, separate from any other.
