Just recently switched from a Blackberry Tour to Iphone 4 from Verizon. I notice that when I'm in the car the handset speaker and the speaker is not as loud as what I'm used to from the blackberry. I have to crank it up to max to be able to hear clearly. Is this normal? I removed the protective film, and do not have debris or case that is blocking.

I usually run my handset volume at about 50%. Much louder than that, people can hear both sides of the conversation. When my wife talks to her mother, it is like both of them are in the same room.:D

The iPhone is not as loud as a blackberry. I remember my old curve was ear-splitting back in the days.
