Yeah, not all of us spend all damn day on Macrumors waiting for breaking news. The first post about the recall was only a few days ago. He was just trying to forward some information.

The point is that it takes about 8 seconds to scroll down the front page. Anyone starting a thread on something they think is new should really invest those 8 seconds of time.

Yes, I agree. But there was no need for the sarcastic comment that was directed at him. A reminder about searches or a link would have been more appropriate.
