Anyone have any luck getting a Vonage phone router set up off the Ethernet port of their AirPort Extreme base station?
I have a home wireless network which features my AirPort Extreme base station (without modem) hooked up to cable, with an AirPort Express in another room, acting as a repeater.
I've just received my Vonage introduction kit, plugged in their phone router device (Linksys RTP300) as their system described, and it works, kinda sorta... at first.
The phone router seems to get an Internet connection, and I can place a call, usually. But after that one phone call -- I feel like I'm in county jail -- it'll disconnect and fail, and I can't get a dialtone anymore, unless I reboot the router. About half the time, I also have to reboot the AirPort Extreme base station and the cable modem as well, as the experience seems to cause the whole network to fail.
Anyone have their Vonage system working with an AirPort Extreme base station, and if so, what did you have to do to make it all work together nicely?
Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
