Hello Hello. My girlfriend has yet another cat (3 now) and she likes to drill me for names because I speak Japanese. So I have come up with 3 names that she likes and she wants me to decide(great). So here we go.

The cat is a mix. She says it looks like a tiger. None of the names really suit the cats' appearance but oh well.

Yuki (雪) : Snow
Umi (海) : Sea
Sumi : This can mean ink (墨) or charcoal (炭) or formatted hard disk (済み, 済)

So there they are, vote away.

Note: If you can't see the Japanese, switch the browser encoding to Shift JIS

It does not have blue eyes or white fur, so I'd go with Sumi as well. In any case, Sumi rolls off the tongue much better.

It may be important to note. That the other cats also have S-names.

Sora meaning sky
and Sammy... which is just a name.

Anyone want to see the rest of the cat family?

This is Sora (空). She is the oldest. She is a Seal Point Siamese.

This is Sammy. He is next in line. He has been sick lately though. Which is why he doesn't look so good. He is getting better though. He also doesn't like the camera flash. He is a Chocolate Siamese.

Sumi might get confused with Sammy... say it real fast a couple times and see what I mean...
Yeah, the poor cats might have an even harder time distinguishing. :) Is it too late to change my vote?

Sumi is cute.

Our cornish rex is named Uisce (pronounced ish-ka) which is celtic for water. He loves playing in water.

I chose Yuki 'cause it seems to be the easiest to roll off the tongue... good in case s/he's a trouble maker. "Yuuuuuuukiiiiiiiiiiii!"

Wow, beautiful cats! We had siamese when I was growing up as a child. But, none of late.

Do cats really know their names? I would go with Sumi as well. Nice to see a tabby in the mix!
