Hi ya all. I have VPC and was always wondering about how fast it is comparable to in the intel world. So I found this site called PCpitstop.com and ran the little test it has. Its under the test my PC, Full tests. its free and pretty fast. So anyways, i did it and my 15" ALPB w/ 768 MB RAM 1 Ghz clocked in at 295mhz. I also had the VPC set to 384 MB RAM for windows. I am curious as to see what others will get? So if you have VPC please to there and test it out.
It also says "This system has enough power for most applications and web browsing, but will not give you the best experience for fast-action games, video editing, and computing-intensive work. If you are mainly using it for web browsing, you can probably get by with a few simple upgrades and regular system maintenance. Otherwise, consider buying a new system."
So take a few minutes and test it out.
