I currently have VirtualPC 5 available to me with Win2000. I runs terribly slow, always has. Now, for university I need to be able to use SPSS which I know there is a mac version of but my university only offers Win versions with edu prices.

Well just recently they started offering office 2004 Professional with VPC7! All that for just 18 euros (a real bargain I know!). I already have Office 2004 but I'd get it just for VP7. My question is whether VPC7 will be worth the while. Will it run on my powerbook (see below) and more importantly will it run better than VPC5 does now? Any suggestions on which Win OS to run with my set up for the best performance?

Thanks!

On my 1.42Ghz mini with 512MB RAM it runs well enough for the one basic task I have to do (working microsoft mappoint) but that's about it. At 667Mhz that might be a stretch though I'm guessing it will still function.
