I have searched, and found little surprisingly about this.

I am using a 1.3 version ipod touch. I can't seem to connect to any VPN networks. I keep getting server does not exist.

What information does one enter? the server name, user name and password?

I am attempting to use it on 2 different college campuses. Stevens Tech and William Paterson University if it matters.

Check with the University's IT page to ensure the iPod Touch supports the VPN standard they are using. Unfortunately, at this time the Touch does not support the VPN used on many college campuses.

Cool, you go to William Paterson? I live in Wayne, but right now I'm in CT at Quinnipiac University. Anyways, I have had no luck with this either. The touch does not support 802.1x which is the type of wifi authentication that requires a login and password. I thought the VPN would solve this problem but so far...nothing. My computer help desk people are clueless. They did say that they are working on support for the iPhone and touch, though. Until then, good luck.
