Recently setup a VPN on my Mac mini Server. Pretty simple setup, just configured for me to access things remotely.
My goal is to be able to use VNC/Screen Sharing to access my machines at home, remotely. I'm able to connect with the VPN, but I'm unable to access other machines on my local network via their local hostnames. Can successfully screenshare to them via IP.
I noticed my IP info in the VPN is somewhat funny, listing as such:
IP: 10.0.1.200
Subnet Mask: <blank>
Router: 10.0.1.200
Seems funny to me that the router is the same as my IP, and that my subnet is missing. Wondering if this may be why I'm unable to connect to other devices via hostname.
Thoughts, anyone?
