Looking for a firewall/router to put at the front end of my network that will manage dnydns and vpn and not bottleneck my 100mbps uplink for general traffic. Currently looking at netgear FVS336G, please advise.
 
That firewall is really good and DynDNS will be fine. Although you'll be surprised that ISP IP's don't change as much as one thinks. I have comcast, and my IP hasn't changed in 3 years.

However, depending on what you need, you might get away with just port-forwarding or look into LogMeIn's Hamachi.
