VPN Download speeds reduced on Big Sur compared to Catalina

I'm using NordVPN and I've noticed that a file I can download at 20Mbps on Catalina, is only coming at barely 3mbps on Big Sur. Same exact file, same time of day, tried it on one, then stopped, then tried on the other, so pretty much back to back.

Anyone else seeing any similar issues? Debating whether I report to NordVPN or Apple, might just do both!
 
What is you download speed without using a VPN?

I ran a speed test with and without using Windscribe VPN connected to a USA server on a mid-2014 13" Pro running Big Sur.
