VPN help 10.6 client so I connted... now what?

So I set up a VPN following this guide

Everything is great when it comes to connecting however once I am connected I can't really do anything. My traffic just seems to stop at the VPN server. Any ideas how I get it to go past that point... on to my network and out to the internet?

So I got my VPN working by filling in

DNS = {OfferedSearchDomains = (10.0.1.1); OfferedServerAddresses = (Internal); };

So now I can connect to the internet.

Any idea how I can access my local network?
