VPN Help Requested

I am at home with my work laptop. In order for me to access company resources, I need to connect my work laptop thru their VPN. Simple enough.

I also have a personal laptop and I can remote into my work laptop with it (using TeamViewer).

However, with my work laptop connected to the VPN, the remote session between my work and personal laptop dies. I know the reason why it doesn't work....but I am seeking any possible resolutions.
