iPod touch VPN/Internet Access

Hi

I am new to this website, anxious & excited about my new Ipod Itouch (2nd gen). I was wondering if there was a way I could always connect to the internet when out on the town..... I have a wi-fi connection, which I use at home to connect to my secure server... but what application if any I could possibly use to connect to the internet anywhere/anytime via securely?

Your touch will only work if you are in a hotspot that has wifi, unless you get the iPhone you cant get conected anywhere.
