I hope someone can offer some assistance on an issue I am having with VPN downloading under 10.8.4 Here goes:
I start my MBP up and have a hardwired connection to the internet. I start VPN up. Browsing the web is no problem nor is email BUT when I try to download a large file, say 300mb or more from a server, after about 10 minutes, VPN just hangs my computer. Totally frozen. And the only way to get the computer back is to reset it by holding the power button down. I have deleted my VPN config and reentered it but that does no good. I have reviewed my VPN settings with my service provider.
I am positive THIS was not the case under 10.7 but has been an issue with 10.8.
As an aside, when I run bootcamp (win 7/64) on the same computer, same network connection and same company VPN....no issues what so ever.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
