VPN issues on 15.7.1

I have multiple L2TP IPsec VPN connections configured for my work and they have been completely reliable over many years. Now after last update I suddenly found out that most of them stopped working - connection is established but there's no traffic over the connection.

I have Tahoe VM set up and when I added a connection with exact same parameters all worked as expected - so it is not (VPN) server side problem.
It might look like I will delete my "defer Tahoe" management profile and go to 26.0.1...

You could try to reset all network settings

That is not hard to do, but add over 20 VPN connections back is. I had to reconfigure them all after I got my current M3 machine set up - Migration Assistant can
bring much of other stuff over without a problem but all these connections had to be reconfigured manually back then. If update solves the problem it will save the hassle of doing it again.

I will be eventually updating anyway so it would be good to find out what is behind this (taking into account that on 26.1 beta connections do work). Will do time machine backup and after then it is all the way into "rounded glass" world...

No dice... ended up recreating broken ones and they work now. At least I succeeded to skip 26.0 - and 26.0.1 works quite OK after few initial ours of sluggishness and lagging.
