Ok, so i've just updated my ipod touch to 1.1.3 firmware thingy. Ive heard that before this update no one officially had VPN settings available to use in college campuses. From what I've found in my searches on these forums it should be under Settings>General>Network>ladidah.. Assuming this information is correct, the problem is there is no "network" after selecting general on my ipod. Is it different worldwide perhaps? I live in Australia and my ipod is the 8Gb version. Can anyone help with this? I don't want to jailbreak my ipod because i would probably stuff it up or something. Thanks a bunch

it doesnt work wit cisco vpn clients which is what my university uses :(

i have vpn though but mine is jailbroken...

It actually does work with Cisco VPN systems - they've said so on their website - but it has to be configured to do so on the IT end; with your organization's network administrator, that is. Unfortunately, most administrators aren't going to make the change. They're notoriously stubborn, according to my cousin, who works in IT.

Sorry to anyone who works in IT and who isn't stubborn. :(
