Hello!
I need some help setting up a VPN connection between my Mac and my iPhone, and I thought some of you might know how to help:
First, let me clarify:
My router is a TP-Link TL-WR740N, which DDNS is set up to a dyndns.org url.
My computer is a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard and iVPN with a static IP of 192.168.1.100
My iPhone is an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1 on a 3G connection.
I have set-up iVPN with the account, password, key, IP's out of the modems DHCP range (192.168.1.101 - 199/ iVPN is 200 - 250)
Now, I understand that I need to make some modification so the VPN traffic hits my Mac after getting on my network but I do not know how to do this.
-Here is a link to my router's interface: http://www.tp-link.com/simulator/TL-WR740N_v1&v2/index.htm
-I have followed the instructions of this website: http://macserve.org.uk/support/ivpn/
"For L2TP connections, UDP ports 1701, 4500 and 500 need to be opened."
And added this ports to my computer as a virtual server on the router interface.
I appreciate any input given on this matter,
Att,
Eduaracanada
