VPN problems and all the techies have pcs...

Hey guys
I'm having problems getting my university VPN wireless network working. I think it is the PPTP type. Basically my uni advised t=me to download their cisco mac client, which I did, on top of the default mac client that is available in the internet connection prog.
Anyway I'm in a mess now with two clients and no connnection....anyone had similar experiences? I dont expect anyone to be able to help me but at least i'll have some company.
