I have a remote user trying to connect to our VPN server via PPTP, using Time Capsule as his base station. He's connecting to the TC wirelessly and port 1723 is forwarded to the IP of the wireless card on his laptop. The initial connection is established and the VPN status says "connected" but no data can be passed through the connection. It's as if he port forwarding isn't enabled. I've verified that I can connect both through cellular (no router) on 10.5.6 and 10.4.11 and through my home router with port 1723 forwarded to my laptop running either 10.4.11 or 10.5.6. All four combinations work fine for me.

Before I find a local tech to make a house call, I'd like to verify that the TC is capable of passing VPN connections. I recall that earlier base stations had VPN issues. Is there anyone who's able to use the built-in client to connect to a PPTP VPN through a Time Capsule? Are you able to use the built-in client or are you using a 3rd party client?
