Hi everybody
I searched through the forums but couldn't find a similar issue.
I'm trying to use my 17 MacBook pro to connect my ps4 via a vpn. I use overplay fwiw.
The MacBook connects over wifi to the vpn and I can confirm it works via whatismyip.
I shared the connection to the usbc port and have an ethernet adapter which connects via rj45 cable to the ps4.
The ps4 allows me to setup a new connection and I can connect to the internet and play online etc. So the connection sharing works!
However, when I check whatismyip on the ps4 it still shows my actual ip address and not the vpn that the MacBook is spontaneously connected to.
Basically it seems my MacBook is bypassing the vpn when I share the connection via Ethernet. Any ideas if this is possible to change?
Many thanks for any insight.
