Can anyone recommend a VPN client that will work under Lion.

I see a paid VPN client at:

http://www.equinux.com/us/products/vpntracker/index.html

but I know nothing about it.

All I'm sure of is that the built-in VPN client in Lion is no longer connecting. I've tried re-creating the connection with verified connection settings, but that still didn't work.

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

- M

+1 great client, and well worth the $9

Are you able to use the built-in Mac VPN connection in Lion? That's what's broken for me. It just never connects.

If I use the tool you're describing, can it import the Mac's VPN settings for the connection that I created that used to work in SL? It seems it needs to support L2TP-VPN.

Thanks,

I just use the built in VPN solution to OS X, works great for me.

Strange.

I can enter the same exact config info into SL and Lion.

In SL, it connects instantly. In Lion, not at all.

No idea why.

I tried Viscosity, but it doesn't work at all.

There doesn't seem to be a simple way to just create a connection with:

1. A server name

2. A user name

3. Password

4. Shared Secret.

In all my attempts at using this product, it just crashes and exits.

It also keeps asking for a "Port", which the Mac VPN setup doesn't.
