I've been a fan of VR since I got the first Oculus Rift devkit years ago, but thought it best (for my wallet!) to just sit back and wait for the tech to mature before jumping in. So I've avoided all that Samsung Gear (I think it's called!) hubbub. Until today! I demoed a cardboard VR thing today and it worked much better than I thought it would. The store were just giving them out but had none left. So I'm keen on buying a good VR headset for an iPhone 6.
What's a good one to get? Is there a site dedicated to this stuff? Is it worth getting the upper end gear like full plastic/metal headsets or is it worth just settling on those cardboard solutions?
