ivoruest macrumors 6502 Jul 12, 2010 398 28 Guatemala Oct 26, 2012 #3 That's actually a lot of VRAM for the IC on your MBP. Not sure if that's normal or not. It will definitely help on graphics performance, specially with that amount of pixels to drive.
