Anybody know anything about this and if it is safe to download for viewing? Trying to watch football online and this seems to be the only app for the viewing links.

thanks

Other than needing to disable their toolbar, I've not had any issues with it on either my mac or my win7 machines.

But how do you download the vShare plugin?

Hoping someone could please let me know where they were able to download the vShare plugin for mac? Thanks.

Thanks but...

I've tried vShare.tv and found nothing there. However, when I tried to watch a vShare link on my macbook it told me I needed to download the latest vShare plugin. So I clicked and the file is an .exe so it won't work on the mac or will it? I'm new to macs. I did the same on my desktop pc and it downloaded and installed the plugin no problem, again since it's an .exe. So I guess my question is where is the plugin for macs?

Thanks again for the help.

edit: Since I can't find the proper plugin for mac, I have found that I can install Internet Explorer via Crossover and then install the vshare-plugin.exe into the same bottle and it works.

vShare via Crossover

Yes.

Download and install "Crossover". It is an app for mac that allows you to run windows applications.

Open up Crossover, click on "Crossover Software Installer" and choose internet explorer.

After it installs, you will be able to run internet explorer.

Now you need to do a search on your normal browser (ie. safari) and find the vshare-plugin.exe. Save it and copy it.

Now, I can't remember exactly what I did here. You may be able to run the .exe by "right" clicking and selecting "open with crossover". Then install in the same bottle you installed iexplorer.

If not, then open up crossover, click on "manage bottles". Then click on "open C: Drive in Finder" and paste the "vshare-plugin.exe" to the "c:\ drive" in the same bottle that you installed internet explorer. Run the .exe while in crossover and it will install inside the bottle.

After this, once you run iexplorer you should be able to watch videos that require the vshare plugin.

I apologize if this was hard to follow. If you run into troubles, msg me and I'll try to help.
