Vuescan - network scanner not recognised

Dear All,

I have a network scanner connected to my network at the moment. The device is a Samsung SCX-4825FN connected over wired ethernet.

I have set this up now and the Samsung software recognises that it is connected. I can scan from it and print to it without any issues. Unfortunately the Samsung software is pretty limited. I downloaded the trial version of Vuescan and I have come into problems. Vuescan doesn't recognise a scanner as being present.

I have used my google-fu without any luck so far. Anyone any ideas on a solution to this?
