vuze effecting my web browser!?

For about a week or so I've been having issues with my internet connection so I started to test some theories and discovered that when vuze is running my connection to safari doesn't work, but when I close the application it immediately starts to work. I tried this about 4 or 5 times until it became rather apparent that was the issue. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue? Thanks in advanced
