I have seen this mouse recommended allot on this forum, I was going to pick one up but i was concerned i would have the use the logitech bt dongle instead of my built in bluetooth.

So, does the VX work directly with the macbook pro's bluetooth, or will i have to use the dongle? Cause thats a deal breaker for me.

If yes, does logitechs software still work as well?

Thanks !!

the vx revolution is not a bluetooth mouse, so you would need to use the included dongle with your macbook. i use an mx revolution with my macbook, and i have no complaints (about the mouse or using it with the dongle). but since the dongle is a dealbreaker for you, i'm sorry.

ok, thanks for the info.

Is there any bluetooth mouse out there that works with macbook pro internal bluetooth and not a dongle? (other than the mightymouse)

yes, of course. Any bluetooth mouse will work. I've used not only the BT mighty mouse, but also the RadTech BT 600 and Microsoft BT intellimouse with my macbook and all work fine.

Targus Laer Rechargeable Notebook Mouse

I bought Targus' laser notebook mouse (BT) for my 12 PB. I used to use the regular optical BT mouse made by Logitech. I prefer the laser mouse because of better mouse tracking. This Targus model works flawlessly and I am very satisfied.

I have BT Mighty Mouse; but, it is a little big for a notebook mouse and it is difficult to turn off the switch without pressing the mouse botton (its entire top outer shell is one giant button). I tried to like Mighty Mouse (both BT and wired versions). But, I could not.
