VZ Edge and Unlimited Data?

My contract ends next month and I'm currently on an unlimited plan that I'd like to keep. Is there seriously no way to do the VZ Edge plan and keep unlimited data?

I don't see why you would have to go on the edge plan? unless you are planning to upgrade your phone subsidized?

Because I can't afford to put down the full retail price of the phone all at once.

No, you cant get a subsidy with that line or you will lose the unlimited for good.
You can add a line to the account or pay full price.

There is a Device Payment Plan that is different than edge. It splits the cost of the device over 12 monthly payments and you get to keep your UD.

Edge lets you upgrade in six months, this plan does not, but with this plan the phone is actually yours.

This is the answer. The new Edge program does not apply to unlimited plan, but the old 12 month financing option does.

Or you could find something on eBay or craigslist.
