VZW changing data plan

After seeing Verizon's announcement upping the 6GB plan to 10GB I changed to that one from my current 8GB one. however that was 3 days ago and online it is still showing the 8gb plan. under orders its telling me that i have a order pending (assuming thats the data change) that will go into effect at the end of my billing cycle. Is it not changing immediately because I'm going "down" from 8 to 6(10)? I thought all data changes go into immediate effect?
 
You get the option to select when it goes in to affect: backdated, immediately, or end of cycle. You must have picked end of cycle.
 
Okay I got it fixed. I had to get ahold of Verizon support so they could cancel the order and reorder again with the correct start time.
