Wondering if anyone has checked in with Verizon to see if they’ll be able to add the $10/month to their grandfathered Unlimited Data Plan. I could see them using this to try to strong-arm us into downgrading to their new limited “unlimited” data plans.
[doublepost=1505314802][/doublepost]UPDATE: I just called Verizon to ask. Apparently the legacy UPDs are not “set up” to add an AW3 and share the phone number.
The rep said I could add it to my plan as a separate device with a separate phone number for $15/month, but it would have its own data plan and be limited to 1 GB per month.
He insisted the AW3 would support a different phone number from my phone (pretty sure that’s BS).
Sounds like Verizon is trying to force us to give up the plan if we want to add an AW3. Disappointing.
