VZW question

I have a question for anyone who works for VZW. I am on a family plan. I cannot upgrade my phone for another 2 months, but someone on my plan has an upgrade available. If I transfer their upgrade to my line, will they be able to use my upgrade in 2 months? Or does my upgrade disappear?

I don't think I can wait 2 months to get the iphone.

Upgrade

You can upgrade the other line and swap your number to it. Your upgrade will be the same in two months. Activate the phone on the other persons number first, then switch to your number. This can be done online through the verizon website. I just did it with my wife's phone. She had a crappy older HTC droid and I have the droid x. I was due the upgrade, she wasn't due till Sept. She got the iphone using my upgrade, hers is still showing sept when I will decide to either keep my x or give hers to one of the kids who wants an iphone. iphone is great for them but I like the larger screen on my x.
