vzw shipdate of october 10

I preordered the gold 16gb VZW and did it at around 4am on preorder date. My original ship date was October 14 but moved to the 10 is it possible that it will move again?

It is possible as stock continues to keep coming in.

ah why is that? Also why docent when I login to my verizon account show this pre-order under "orders"?
