VZW Status deliver date went from 9/19 to unavailable!?

Looks like your in the second group. First group is 9/19 Second is 10/7, third is 10/14, and the current is 10/21 (these are the dates I've seen people report so far) cross your fingers and hope you get it sooner, I saw the 10/7 date being given out as early as orders placed at 3:05 EST / 12:05 PST they actually opened pre-orders up 5 minutes early, I was able to make my order at 2:56am / 11:56pm
It seems like it did this 2 years ago with the 5 also and it ended up being nothing to worry about, phones were delivered on the originally promised date. I wouldn't stress over it.
My delivery date had said 9/19 when I checked it about an hour after the order. Checked it again, I don't know why, now it says unavailable??? Anyone else getting this... recheck it!
Mine did the same thing, they probably need to sort out the digital Black Friday they had on their website. Give it a few days.

Mine too. And the confirmation, which I took a screenshot of said the 9/19. I would be lying if I said I'm not perturbed. For two reasons:
1. There was no mention of a deliver date until after the purchase. Which means it should be accurate, and if that's not the case they should tell you before hand.
2. Its on the confirmation, so that really should be honored.
My Order Confirmation email says:
Order Date: 09/12/2014
Deliver By: 09/19/2014
However, when I click the check order status link, it says:
Here is the status of your Pre-Order:
We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: 10/14/2014
Big difference. If I would have known this, I would have ordered with Apple.

I ordered at about 11 minutes after they went on sale, and I'm at 9/19 for a 6, 64GB.
Of course I won't die! But really, a month later than my confirmation email is misleading and would have gone through Apple instead.
Tends to happen every year, they seem to start reconciling orders and their servers run whatever tasks they run the next day, and the dates will pop on and off until you get your shipment notice.
The date on your confirmation is when you should get it. If you ordered right around Midnight PDT/3AM EDT, you should have it next Friday.

If your'e getting the 64GB, Apple still has ship dates by 9/19 on their site. Call Verizon, cancel your order, and order with Apple.
Not for 6+
All 6+ options show 3-4 weeks. Some gold models are available to pick up in my area on 9/19, but not liking the gold this time. (Current 5S is gold)
Just got off the phone with Verizon. I was told to go by the date in the Order Confirmation Email, and not through the order status link. He said the information he sees on my order shows it will be delivered 9/19/14.
Hope it's accurate. If I have to wait a month, I'd rather buy from Apple.

Happened this way last year as well. I even personally experienced this with the 5s. Email had an earlier date than the website. The phone still showed up on the date in the email.
