Does Verizon's Total Mobile Protection seem like a huge con to anybody else? You pay $11/mo to potentially pay a $199 deductible on a cracked screen when the out of warranty repair with apple is $280, not even $100 more -- and that's free.

Yeah it’s a total scam but they have to jack the prices up because people lose their phone and then sells on eBay

They actually just changed it to $29 or $39 (can't remember which) for a cracked screen, the $199 is for a total replacement.

No idea if that will cover a cracked back though

Don’t forget that is for lost or stolen as well. But I agree, it’s a con to make Verizon richer
